Research Results versus Interpretation

We read quite a bit of research and research reporting trying to keep up on the rapid changes in the alternative health and wellness field. It used to be that researchers were very careful when drawing conclusions based on their results. Be careful when you read news reports of new research. I have noticed researchers speculating on the meaning of their research more and more. I hope it is not just to bring attention to their research. This particular bit was slash dotted a couple of times and referenced by a number of sites, both with a scientific bent and more personal slant.

Opinion Poll Causes of Stress in CA Youth

Life Pressures on Californian Youth

While most of the opinion polls referred to on this blog by me are for entertainment and to provoke thought, they are very unlikely to actually reflect any groups opinion. This on may be an exception undertaken by New America Media and funded by several foundations and by the univ. of California school system to get some insight into the 16 to 22 year old Californian residence outlook on life.

Relaxation Techniques - Often Overlooked

We spend a lot of time reading about stress and relaxation. Most recommendations you see time and time again. I finally found a couple of one I had not seen for a long time.
