This blog has a great look and good technical information about the nuts and bolts of getting the most out of your surfing and blogging. 9 out of 10 for the intended audience.
Content
I would rate the content as 8 out of 10. The content is well written and goes into detail in areas often overlooked in technical blogs. Lots of tips about optimizing your work processes. But this site is not for everyone, if you are not into tweaking and tuning your software and computer environment this site may not have much for you.
Blog Design
Great looking "Web 2.0" design, graphics, icons and the layouts initial eye appeal is superb. Makes good use of 3 column layout. I use a reduced view port to have my bookmarks on the left side of my browser. The essential navigation and information is still visible. On the downside, some of the posts use alot of in-line text links with pop-up advertisements.
Technical Design
My main concern with this site would be the lack of a readily accessible browse by category navigation feature. The top posts is nice but it does not provide a sense of the amount of information that is actually available on the site. The archive tab and following pages do more to hide the information than make it accessible. When you click on a category the screen does not change at all above the fold in my browser, I did not realize at first their was a list of posts loading below the fold. I expected it in the white space to the right of the list or in a new page.

Blog Design
I like this theme, I have looked at it previously but it did not handle pages the way I wanted, but none the less it is a nice looking theme. I like the way the broad column spanning entries at top work with the 2 narrow column below. This blog has a issue similar to most 3 column blogs that results in a large empty space right of the posts after the navigation and related plugins run out.
Technical Design
Content
This blog is a well written resource oriented blog mostly discussing the job market, issues and resources related to those working in Israel but with some posts of general interest. Looks like a good resource for those in the region.
Blog Design
Nice Clean up to date design, The offset navigation tabs to the right are a nice distictive touch. As mentioned in other reviews I am a big fan of category navigation and I miss it in this blog. I would move it out from under archives and locate it before or after the recent articles plugin.
Technical Design
No issues with the technical aspect of the design, I like the classic use of the footer navigation links. Time tested in millions of websites often missing in blog setups.
Content
The content is well written but kind of all over the board as implied by the blog title.
Blog Design
This part could use some work. The main problem is the header image is way too wide and distorts the layout of the rest of the blog. I am not a big fan of black background sites, unless they are primarily photo blogs. In this case the white background plugin overwhelms the visuals on the page. Maybe I am just getting old.
Technical Design
Content
Excellent quality content for a specialty audience. Interesting even if you do not work in the software industry. As a user of many different pieces of software, I often feel like a tester without a developer when the software does not work as expected. It is nice to know that there is at least one tester out there that knows and cares about the job he does. The passion comes through loud and clear.
One area that might improve the content is the addition of a few more topic headers and bullet points so that the reader can scan an get an idea where the post is going before settling in to read it in full. This would be particularly helpful on some of the longer posts.
Blog Design
Good Clean design. text heavy but fine for an interested and technically oriented audience. No real issues with it. Nicely placed header image with each post, I like the unusual right justified location. Good and full selection of navigation options. I do not usual like advertisements across the top of a blog but these are small enough and integrated well enough that they do not provide too much of a distraction from the content.
Could use some eye candy, but probably not an issue with the audience this blog is most likely to attract.
Technical Design
Nothing surprising here no real issues one way or the other. Personally, I prefer urls that are based on a category assignment rather than the archive date structure he uses but the ranking difference is probably minor.
He might want to consider a summary intro paragraph or two and use the more tag to show more posts on the front page.
