Stress Can Cause

  1. Headaches
  2. Sleep disturbances
  3. Feelings of anxiety or tension
  4. Anger
  5. Concentration problems
  6. Depression
  7. Lack of interest in food or increased appetite
  8. Burnout, with loss of interest in normal activities.
  9. frequent colds or other infections and illnesses.
  10. Negative effect on the process of wound healing.

Stress can worsen the symptoms of:

  • Diabetes
  • High blood pressure
  • Heart disease
  • Neurological conditions
  • Chronic pain

    Stress also worsens the feelings of depression. Espeically for those with chronic depression.

    Depression is not about the glass being half full or half empty. Depression is a drop of dye added to that glass of water. Everything is clouded by the dye. All ones life is clouded by depression.

    Many friends have expressed surprise in fidning out that I suffer from depression. You are always so happy, so optimistic. And I am a very optimistic and positive person. My glass is usually half full. Depression is an uncontrolqable feeling that comes over me and makes it hard to be who I truely am.

    Stress makes the fight to be “normal” that much harder. Stress is another drop of dye in that mythical glass of water.

    Hi, I think your imagery is helpful. Often friends can not see very deeply into our lives.
