Paul Grilley and Sarah Powers who became significant promoters of Yin Yoga. Paul Grilley drew inspiration after he saw Paulie Zink perform Taoist Yoga on public access television talk show. He sought Zink and studied with him for a year. Sarah Powers, a student of Paul Grilley and also a Yoga teacher started propagating Yin yoga. At first, was called Taoist Yoga since it was derived from the ancient art. But, later Paulie Zink called it Yin Yoga.
